Rainy Day in Malibu

So two of my shoots actually got cancelled this week due to rain. So instead, on Friday I went out with my talented friend Kira and she did my makeup/hair and took some candid-looking photos of me walking along the sand of a beach in Malibu. I loved how natural some of the photos turned out and how it's not a typical happy sunny beach-shoot. More melancholy and soft. I'm excited to add them to my portfolio :)

I also met up with my agent Jeffrey today and we've organized my book and potential clients. I'm waiting to get photos back from recent photographers I've worked with but only god knows how long that will take haha. Can't wait to see what they've done with the photos!

Bettie Page Pinup Shoot

Had a shoot with Brooke Frederick, a photography student at Pasadena Art Center. We did a 1950's Bettie Page inspired pinup girl photoshoot. Here is a preview:

Had a great time with Alex on Monday. We shot in her hometown, Yucaipa, in her home and in some fields close by. So far most of the pictures aren't "facebook appropriate", so I'm waiting for her to give me the censored images to show you guys :) Here's a preview...

Busy Week

It's gonna be crazy. I have a studio and outdoor shoot with Alexandria Bailey tomorrow in Yucaipa, then work. A Bettie Page inspired shoot with Brooke Frederick on Wednesday, then working again. A shoot with Valerie Chaing on Thursday, then work. On Friday, a "Lolita" themed shoot with Natasha Aftandilians all over Los Angeles. And finally Saturday, meeting with my agent Jeffery and putting my book together so I can start meeting up with agencies :)
So excited to see what comes out of these shoots and meet some creative and talented people along the way!

This is Crazy

A couple nights ago I started following Ellen Von Unwerth's instagram and she randomly commented on one of my photos asking where I was based and what agency I belong with. She told me to email a man named Q Ladraa who has worked with Heidi Klum, so I contacted him and just met him today. He really likes my look and wants to keep in touch. He told me to go to open casting calls at agencys in Los Angeles. Looks like I have a lot of shopping and working out to do haha. So excited :)
We'll see what happens!!

Happy

My life is finally unfolding and I'm feeling better than ever :)
I have a wonderful boyfriend who loves me, a supportive family and amazing friends, a steady job and a new exciting job that leads me to exciting opportunities with creative and talented people.
I honestly never thought I could go even this far in modeling and I never gave myself the patience to pursue it. It wasn't until December of 2012 that I started emailing agencies and online retail stores and really put myself out there. Giving myself that push was all that I needed to get started. :)
